Temple Hills, Md., is a Prince George’s County town about two and a half miles from the Washington, D.C., border, and the 2000 census put its population at 7,792.
The most obvious reason to rent a place in Temple Hills is the convenience. The I-495 Capital Beltway runs right through the heart of town, and while there is no WMATA Metrorail stop here, there are two a couple of miles away on the Green Line.

Unique among these are Temple Hills Community Center Park and Hillcrest Heights Community Center, both of which have gymnasiums, fitness rooms, and offer a variety of programs for all ages.
There are plenty of shopping options in the Temple Hills ZIP code, even if they happen to be in neighboring Marlow Heights. You can shop at both Iverson Mall and neighboring Marlow Heights Shopping Center, the latter featuring Macy’s and Giant. And, of course, you’ve got the Capital Beltway to take you wherever you need to go for more shopping options.
When you add it all up, Temple Hills is a convenient place to make your home.
