We've greatly enjoyed living here for a whole year, since shortly after The Alaire opened. They kept their promises to us and established a very friendly atmosphere. We know all the concierges by name; they greet us with a smile when we come in, hold the door, get carts for our packages, and are personable.

We love our corner apartment, so bright and clean. Kitchen is spacious, well-designed, beautiful countertops. Bathroom is large, includes hidden washer-dryer. Airy 9-foot ceilings and large windows. Everything works; in rare case of a glitch, competent maintenance men appear almost immediately and fix it. Reasonable utilities by Pepco, Verizon FIOS-ready.

My wife and I swim laps in the saline pool every day, June until October - a happy routine. No complaints whatsoever. We highly recommend it. Very convenient to NIH and everything on the Red Line or Rockville Pike. Interesting, pleasant neighbors. Spacious garage parking is free!
