This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level professional with experience in the property management field to join a locally owned and managed company with substantial potential for career growth.
Brief Description: The Leasing Manager, under the direction of the Property Manager, is responsible for the overall marketing and leasing functions for the community, maximizing occupancy and cash flow, promoting resident retention, supervising the leasing staff.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of property management experience or a 4-year Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Computer Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven leadership ability track record of success with the leasing process
- Working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing mandates and other legal issues affecting property management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with residents and customers in a professional manner

Job Duties (include but are not limited to):- Managing administration of the leasing office.
- Supporting the Property Manager with recruiting, hiring and training new staff
- Monitoring and directing sales activities while maintaining an intimate knowledge of the local market
- Providing a quality living environment for residents and positive work environment for team members
- Working closely with the marketing team to achieve maximum occupancy at property
