Spanning three square miles, Adelphi, MD is a community in Prince George's County located on the Anacostia River, north of Hyattsville and Washington DC. It is located one mile away from I-495 the College Park Metrorail station is 3 miles from Adelphi. The area is easily accessible to apartment residents by various Metrobus stops.
Adelphi was named after the historic Adelphi Mill, established on the Anacostia River in 1796. The Adelphi Mill is the only surviving mill in Prince George’s County and the oldest and largest Mill in Washington DC.
