Description
Chantilly is in the western part of Fairfax County and lies just north of Centreville and southeast of the Dulles International Airport.
Chantilly and Centreville have a lot in common since they're situated right next to each other. Both Centreville and Chantilly were named as one of the hottest towns for college educated and working professionals to live in by CNNmoney in 2004. Some deciding factors include population, population growth, median household income, median home price as well as other factors such as weather, culture, travel and environment.
Chantilly is located near Route 50, 28 and 66. There are no Metro Rail or VRE stops in Chantilly. The only form of public transportation is buses. A major point of interest in Chantilly is the Dulles Expo Center.
County Description
Fairfax County spans 399 square miles and is ranked as having one of the best school systems, police and fire departments in the Washington DC Metro Area.
