Description
Named after nearby Rock Creek Park, Rockville is home to many government offices and private health agencies. City festivities include Rockville's Hometown Holidays and the Spirit of Rockville. Major parks are the Rock Creek Regional Park and the Cabin John Regional Park. Montgomery College of Rockville is the only college in this city. Underlying communities in Rockville include Fallsmead and Twinbrook.

County Description
The County of Montgomery was formed by the splitting of Frederick County in 1776, and was named after Revolutionary War General Richard Montgomery. Today, Montgomery County spans 497 square miles and is the one of the most populated and fastest growing counties in Maryland.
The County is home to a large number of technology, government, telecommunications and biotech firms--most of which lie around I-270 and Route 29. Major firms include Marriott, Lockheed Martin, Human Genome Sciences and Hughes Network Systems.
