5 Space Heaters to Help You Combat the Cold
I’ve mentioned these contraptions on the blog once before, and yes, I’ve used one back in my days in Reston, where I rented a room from a freak-and-a-half named … oh, let’s not get into names, shall we … or get into his coming into my room in his tighty whities one time to fix my TV: “Heeeeyyyy awereeahhhh,” I can still hear him squeal.
I don’t want the TV fixed that bad! I’ll just get used to this nice fuzz or whatever’s on the screen. This way I can use my imagination, after I stick my head under some ice-cold water to get that image out of my brain.
Ughhhhhhhh! OK, space heaters … yeah, OK.

Yes, I’m sure you’ve heard these things can be dangerous, and this link will give you some expert advice on what to watch out for. And here is a great buying guide from Consumer Reports, who, for a fee, will even be nice enough to give you their space heater rankings.
So for ratings, I checked out the folks at One Last Review, and they list five good ones on their site. I’m going to list them and their prices on Amazon at the time of writing. As always, use those keyboard fingers of yours to find the best deal possible, because even a cursory look around the web reveals lower prices than what you’ll find on Amazon.
Stop by apartmentshowcase.com for the ability to look at apartments instead of space heaters.
