Small Space Got You Down? Let HGTV Show You How to Live Large

So you have a small apartment but want it to look big and stylish. I’m assuming it’s a common lament among D.C.-area apartment renters.

Well, then I have the show for you: HGTV’s “Small Space, Big Style.”

While it doesn’t appear to be on the network’s regular schedule anymore (ergo, I think it was cancelled), it has a healthy presence in the Land of YouTube, where old shows and music – good, bad and ugly – go to spend their cyber afterlife.

From the site:

[“]Small Space, Big Style[”] features incredibly stylish homes, all measuring in at under 1,000 square feet. Meet the creative homeowners who have made the most out of the limited space that they have and learn the tricks to make any small space seem bigger.

Of course, whether you rent or own, this show gives great advice.

Today we’ll look at actors Tyler and Julie’s 500-square-foot flat in Queens. What they’ve done to this little space is nothing short of amazing. Click on the video to see how these two have used their imaginations – and a bunch of mirrors and an appropriated bookcase – to make their apartment chic. These are some practical actors.
