Time to Wine and Dine Again at D.C. Restaurant Week
This year’s Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week 2013 takes place from August 19 to 25 and features more than 200 restaurants.
The press release states that “area foodies are invited to dine at their favorite participating restaurants and discover new dining destinations, which will feature three-course, prix fixe lunch and dinner menus priced at $20.13 and $35.13, respectively.”
Yes, you know the drill. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you do. This year “diners are also encouraged to explore Chilean wines at participating Restaurant Week locations and vote for their favorite winery and restaurant at TASTECHILE2013.com.”
And if you win this sweepstakes, you’ll receive “a Chilean wine dinner for 10” at your “favorite participating restaurant, courtesy of Wines of Chile.”
I’m assuming the listed prices are a good deal for at least some of these restaurants. You should come out and support the wide array of area restaurants just the same; it’s part of what makes the metro area unique.
Presented by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (better known as RAMW), sponsoring this year’s event are OpenTable, Wines of Chile and American Express.
