Nellie's Sports Bar Drag Brunch

Nellie’s takes brunch to the next level with Drag Brunch. Though tickets aren’t super cheap, they cost under $40.00. This ticket includes the all-you-can eat buffet, the show, and your first mimosa, so it’s worth the investment. When it’s not drag brunch time, Nellie’s is another affordable place for a pit stop.

Want spicy brunch with something alcoholic for under $12.00? Columbia Heights’ El Chucho is a winner. Prices are pretty reasonable here and the food won’t disappoint. Enjoy El Chucho brunch on the rooftop for terrific people watching and killer views of the neighborhood.

Medium Rare is not your cheapest brunch, but it offers an extremely affordable all-inclusive deal. $25.00 at this venue gets you bottomless beverages (coffees and/or mimosas, bloodies, screwdrivers, whatever your poison), bread, an appetizer (yogurt parfait, salad, or fruit), and one of the five main course options, nearly all of which include steak! This place is typically bustling at brunch time and although reservations are not required, customers line up pretty early to get in. MR has locations in Cleveland Park and Capitol Hill/Barracks Row.

This restaurant serves VERY high quality southern foods and this is another option where one can easily maximize their dollar because GB’s brunch is a buffet. It’s also a bit of a DC classic, so it’s a great place to introduce newcomers to brunch in the nation’s capital.
