Trot Much? Walk Scores for 10 D.C. Neighborhoods
According to Walk Score, Washington, D.C., “is the 7th most walkable large city in the US with 601,732 residents.”
And no, I don’t think they mean that, out of U.S. cities that sport a population of 601,732, the capital is the seventh most walkable. I’m not sure who’s minding the editorial shop over there, but should I really care? That’s the blogging question of the ages.
Walk Score also claims the city “has good public transportation and is somewhat bikeable.” Great. And they add, further, that “most errands can be accomplished on foot in Washington D.C.”
So for potential apartment renters in D.C., these are good marks.
